Meet Dr. Tia Crooms 👋🏽
My name is Dr. Tia Crooms. I am a skilled Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and AAMFT supervisor. I developed SSTC as a "one-stop shop" for all your outpatient therapy & supervision needs...from internship to licensure to supervisor. I have personal experience working with the same supervisor as a graduate-level clinician until being credentialed as an AAMFT supervisor. I have found that continuing quality supervision with someone with whom you have already established trust is invaluable for professional growth and development. In other words, we can skip past the "getting to know you phase" and get right into the deeper self of therapist/supervisor work. I desire to pay it forward! As a university professor, AAMFT supervisor, and AAMFT supervisor workshop facilitator, I have experience working with clinicians in these various phases of clinical development. I have learned each phase's developmental needs and developed effective strategies for success. Essentially, SSTC provides continuity of mental health & supervision care.
